Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership on geotechnical engineering projects, including soil/rock classification, slope stability analysis, earth retention-systems, deep foundation design, soil improvement techniques, and pavement design.
  • Lead technical projects, direct multi-functional teams, and develop and mentor junior staff.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including proposal preparation, project scheduling, and deadline delivery.
  • Steward quality and risk management, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7-10 years of related experience in geotechnical engineering and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in geotechnical engineering in either a technical or project management role in a professional services firm.
  • PE in CA or the ability to obtain within 4 months required, GE preferred.
