Senior Systems Engineer for Enterprise Infrastructure

Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Enterprise Infrastructure to support our Cyber Mission division. This role involves contributing to one of the most extensive engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. The position is full-time and requires a commitment of 1880 hours annually, with responsibilities carried out at a designated customer site.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will:
- Offer technical insights and process recommendations.
- Conduct thorough technical analysis of various alternatives.
- Manage configuration and assist in planning, developing, deploying, securing, and operating the Information Technology Infrastructure across the customer enterprise.
- Support the development of transition plans and processes for services encompassing data links, networks, government communication systems, interfaces, and processing systems.
- Facilitate the standardization of services to ensure the development of enterprise tools within the organization.
- Collaborate with the Government Team to ensure the completion of systems integration activities during EIS transformation.
- Create system engineering and technical documentation, develop master schedules, design relevant dashboards, and establish best practices and processes.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's degree or PhD may substitute for two years of experience, while a high school diploma or GED with 24 years of experience is also acceptable.
- Possession of TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, design synthesis, and system design.
- Experience in producing enterprise-level architectural documents such as CONOPS, model-based systems engineering, use-case diagrams, and security compliance support.
- Ability to conduct risk analysis, evaluate test results, and report on the health status of activities to ensure enterprise and mission compatibility.
- Familiarity with Confluence and SharePoint, including managing folder structures, modifying permissions, and creating new sites.
- Experience in providing troubleshooting recommendations and researching solutions as needed.
- Understanding of customer infrastructure is essential.
