Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Enterprise Infrastructure to support critical missions within the Cyber Mission sector. In this role, you will engage in one of the most significant enterprise-wide engineering initiatives within the Intelligence Community. This position entails a full-time commitment of 1880 hours annually, primarily conducted at a designated customer site.
As a Senior Systems Engineer, your contributions will include:
- Providing expert technical and procedural recommendations.
- Conducting thorough technical analyses of various alternatives.
- Overseeing configuration management processes.
- Assisting in the planning, development, deployment, security, and operation of the Information Technology Infrastructure across all domains.
- Supporting the formulation of transition strategies and processes for services such as data links, networks, government communication systems, and processing systems.
- Facilitating the standardization of services to ensure the development of enterprise tools within the organization.
- Collaborating with the Government Team to ensure the successful completion of systems integration activities during EIS transformation.
- Producing comprehensive system engineering and technical documentation.
- Developing master schedules and designing relevant dashboards.
- Establishing best practices and processes for system engineering.
Qualifications
Essential Experience and Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's degree or PhD may substitute for two years of experience, while a high school diploma or GED with 24 years of systems engineering experience is also acceptable.
- Possession of TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, design synthesis, and system design.
- Experience in creating enterprise-level architectural documents, including CONOPS, model-based systems engineering, use-case diagrams, and compliance support.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, evaluate test outcomes, and report on the health status of activities to ensure enterprise and mission compatibility.
- Familiarity with Confluence and SharePoint, including managing folder structures and permissions.
- Experience in providing troubleshooting recommendations and researching solutions as necessary.
- Understanding of customer infrastructure is advantageous.
