Senior Systems Engineer for Enterprise Infrastructure

Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Enterprise Infrastructure to support our Cyber Mission division. In this role, you will play a crucial part in one of the most extensive engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This position is full-time and requires a commitment of 1880 hours annually, with work conducted at a designated customer site.
As a Senior Systems Engineer, your role will encompass providing expert technical guidance and process recommendations, performing thorough technical analyses, and managing configuration processes. You will assist in the planning, development, deployment, security, and operation of the Information Technology Infrastructure across various domains within the customer enterprise. Your responsibilities will also include aiding in the formulation of transition plans and processes for services such as data links, networks, government communication systems, and processing systems. Furthermore, you will contribute to the standardization of these services to ensure the development of enterprise tools within the organization.
Additionally, you will collaborate with the Government Team to ensure that all necessary activities related to systems integration are completed during the EIS transformation. Your tasks will involve producing system engineering and technical documentation, developing comprehensive schedules, designing relevant dashboards, and establishing best practices and processes.
Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's degree or PhD may substitute for two years of experience, while a high school diploma or GED with 24 years of systems engineering experience is also acceptable.
- This position necessitates a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, design synthesis, and system design.
- Experience in creating enterprise-level architectural artifacts, including CONOPS, model-based systems engineering, use-case diagrams, and security compliance support.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct risk analysis, evaluate test results, and report on the health status of activities to ensure compatibility and operational health.
- Familiarity with Confluence.
- Experience with SharePoint, including managing folder structures, modifying permissions, and creating new sites.
- Ability to provide troubleshooting recommendations and research solutions as needed.
- Familiarity with customer infrastructure is essential.
