Culinary Operations Supervisor

**Apex Entertainment is seeking a Culinary Operations Supervisor to enhance our kitchen team and ensure outstanding service for our patrons. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and coordinate the daily functions of the kitchen and related areas, while fully comprehending and supporting all established policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training initiatives.**
**Key Responsibilities**
Lead and manage a team of 5-25 kitchen staff, delegating tasks effectively.
Provide guidance and identify opportunities for improvement and success.
Maintain accurate daily food logs to ensure operational efficiency.
Guarantee that all dishes are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's established recipes and standards.
Conduct line checks at the start of each shift to ensure quality control.
Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and uphold cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
Assess staffing levels to ensure optimal coverage within the allocated payroll budget.
Evaluate employee performance and administer disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy when necessary.
Ensure that all team members possess the necessary food knowledge to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Assist in organizing and coordinating private events, acting as a liaison between the Events and Operations teams.
Continuously strive to develop kitchen staff in managerial and professional competencies.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards in a consistent and equitable manner.
Verify that all products received meet the correct specifications and quantities, in line with receiving policies.
Analyze food cost estimates to support effective budgeting and cost management.
Collaborate with managers, suppliers, and financial personnel regarding the efficient procurement of kitchen supplies.
Monitor portion control to minimize food waste.
Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations relevant to the restaurant environment.
Manage catering events both on-site and off-site as required.
Foster positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and maintenance staff.
Fully understand and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding health, safety, and labor standards for the restaurant and its employees.

Ability to perform calculations related to discounts, commissions, and percentages.
Possession of a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing work conditions.
Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
