Job Summary:
At 61st Street Service Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmic Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our eye care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our physicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-examination preparations for patients across all specialties
• Assist physicians with in-office procedures and ensure patient safety
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient comfort
• Manage patient histories, visual acuity assessments, and manual refractions
• Perform basic diagnostic testing and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with the practice team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months of ophthalmology experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of medical terminology and scribing skills
• CPR certification and prior EMR experience preferred
