About the Role:The Account Manager will be responsible for selling educational tours to qualified Program Leaders, as well as inheriting and nurturing an established base of current clients. This role requires a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Program Leaders, responding promptly to inquiries and requests, and engaging personally to determine long and short-term needs.
- Solicit new clients through prospecting, direct sales calls, and follow-up on new sales leads.
- Meet or exceed sales goals, while maintaining a high level of resold business and driving business growth.
- Work closely with Product Management to support tour logistics, ensuring seamless communication between teams.
- Resell Program Leaders on future tours and inherit new clients closed by Program Consultants.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Program Associates and Financial Service Representatives.
- Stay up-to-date on all relevant tours and brands, as well as the student travel industry, to provide expert knowledge and insights.
