Role Summary

The Valet Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily management of valet services at our locations. This position ensures that operations align with contractual obligations, adheres to company policies, fosters positive client relationships, and maintains a professional image.

Work Schedule

Morning Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Shifts may vary)

Evening Shift: 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM or 2:00 AM (Shifts may vary)

Note: Shift timings are subject to change.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Ensure timely service delivery to customers.
  • Assist customers with entering and exiting their vehicles.
  • Safely drive, park, and retrieve customer vehicles.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing valet team.
  • Develop staffing schedules based on expected vehicle volume.
  • Maintain compliance with standard operating procedures, ensuring vehicle and key security.
  • Prepare and manage daily paperwork in accordance with audit standards.
  • Keep drive lanes and pedestrian walkways clear of debris and hazards.
  • Design and implement effective staging plans to maximize parking efficiency.
  • Quickly identify vehicle makes and models; possess a general understanding of vehicle operations.
  • Provide coverage for any position as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

**COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement:** This location mandates COVID-19 vaccination for employees, with exceptions for valid medical or religious accommodations.**

Compensation: $25.00 per hour (plus tips)

This position is eligible for tips in addition to the hourly wage.

Education and Experience: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least 6 months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Driver's License: A valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record is required. The ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle may be necessary based on location requirements.

Communication Skills: Clear verbal communication; attentive listening; effective responses to inquiries.

Written Communication: Ability to write clearly and informatively; proficient in reading and interpreting written information.

Customer Service: Maintains a positive demeanor; responds professionally and courteously to service requests.

Adaptability: Adjusts to changes in the work environment; effectively manages change, delays, or unexpected events.

Judgment: Demonstrates sound and accurate judgment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, and communicate verbally. The employee will walk and run for extended periods to park and retrieve customer vehicles, including using stairs and elevators.

The employee may occasionally need to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
