Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Ensure prompt service for all customers.
  • Assist guests with entering and exiting their vehicles.
  • Safely drive, park, and retrieve vehicles in a professional manner.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing valet team.
  • Develop staffing schedules based on expected vehicle volume.
  • Maintain compliance with standard operating procedures, ensuring the safety and security of vehicles and keys.
  • Prepare and manage daily paperwork in accordance with audit standards.
  • Keep drive lanes and crosswalks clear of any hazards.
  • Design and implement effective staging plans to maximize parking efficiency.
  • Quickly identify vehicle makes and models, possessing a general understanding of vehicle operations.
  • Be prepared to fill in for any position as needed.

Qualifications

Note: Employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment, subject to valid medical or religious exemptions.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour (plus tips)

This position has the potential to earn tips in addition to the hourly wage.

Education and Experience: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, along with at least 6 months of relevant experience or training; or a combination of education and experience.

Driver's License: A valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and an acceptable driving record is required. The ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle may be necessary depending on the location.

Communication Skills: Clear verbal communication; active listening and responsiveness to inquiries.

Written Communication: Ability to write clearly and informatively; capable of reading and interpreting written information.

Customer Service: Maintains a positive demeanor and responds to service requests professionally and courteously.

Adaptability: Adjusts to changes in the work environment and effectively manages unexpected events.
