Responsibilities
Baker Tilly, recognized as one of the fastest-growing CPA advisory firms in the nation, presents an exceptional career opportunity for a Global Tax Strategy Manager to join our expanding International Tax practice. This role is primarily focused on our corporate/business international tax team.

Our International Tax practice consists of a borderless team of professionals across the U.S., complemented by team members from over 140 Baker Tilly International member firms worldwide.

This skilled team tackles critical issues for our global clients, providing advice on U.S.-based and local country matters, including international tax compliance, planning and structuring, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, supply chain planning, international high net worth, and global mobility.

What you'll accomplish:
- Advise clients on a comprehensive range of international tax services, including planning, research, compliance, foreign tax credits, international provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, outbound and inbound structure planning, and cross-border transactions.
- Lead multiple international tax engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax planning and consulting projects for our diverse clientele.
- Enhance your technical expertise by staying informed on trends, developments, and technical authorities, applying them to complex scenarios.
- Collaborate and cultivate relationships with Baker Tilly member firms globally.
- Provide international tax technical guidance to tax professionals across the firm.
- Assist in managing client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are achieved.
- Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build robust relationships both internally and externally with clients.
- Invest in your professional development individually and through participation in firm-wide learning and development initiatives.
- Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, aiding associates in achieving their professional objectives.

Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess:
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA, MST, or JD/LLM is required.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience or some exposure to international tax provisions, cross-border issues, and U.S. compliance for international tax payers, such as foreign tax credits, controlled foreign corporations, withholding regimes, and tax treaties; experience in a professional services firm is preferred.
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates, is desired.
- The ability to lead and supervise others, deliver exceptional client service, demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning to remain current regarding applicable strategies, maintain a broad perspective while attending to details, exhibit appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and show urgency and dedication to quality and timely project completion.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is highly preferred.

Additional Information
For California, Colorado, New York, and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $97,420 to $211,090. Actual compensation is influenced by various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. #LI-YB1 #LI-hybrid
