Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Associate to join our team as a trusted business advisor, providing industry-focused tax advisory and compliance services to middle market clients. As a key member of our engagement team, you will work closely with clients to deliver creative solutions to complex accounting and business challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations, partnerships, individuals, and corporations, ranging from middle market to multinational companies.
  • Participate in tax research projects on various tax issues, help draft IRS responses, and address other tax authority inquiries.
  • Team with leaders on special projects in areas of corporate and flow-through taxation, such as accounting methods and ASC 740.
  • Develop recommendations for clients to consider and share with leadership to discuss and strategize.
  • Communicate and team with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters in state and local, high net worth, international, research and development, and credits and incentives areas.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or law, or a related degree in business, with sufficient coursework and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state you are being considered.
  • CPA or JD license preferred.
  • Two (2)+ years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm.
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills, initiative, and adaptability.
  • Microsoft Suite skills.
  • Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.
