About the Role:

As a Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) at Walgreens, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of pharmacy services, including prescription dispensing, patient counseling, and health education. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of care and service. Your expertise and knowledge will be essential in promoting the health and well-being of our patients, and in supporting the overall success of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional patient care and services, including prescription dispensing, patient counseling, and health education.

• Work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of care and service.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote the health and well-being of our patients.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and healthcare, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and pharmacy operations.

• Collaborate with our pharmacy team to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations.

Requirements:

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.

• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.

• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.

• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
