Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients, customers, and colleagues, and respond to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and other support staff, and provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
  • Financial Profitability: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve financial performance and profitability.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks, including those related to inventory management and patient safety.
  • Workflow Management: Optimize workflow processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License: Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state where employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Must be certified in immunizations through an accredited organization.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check, including a review of any pending felony charges or convictions related to controlled substances.
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
