- Personnel Management: Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and other support staff, and provide guidance and training as needed.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
- Financial Profitability: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve financial performance and profitability.
- Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks, including those related to inventory management and patient safety.
- Workflow Management: Optimize workflow processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Active Pharmacy License: Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state where employed.
- Immunization Certification: Must be certified in immunizations through an accredited organization.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check, including a review of any pending felony charges or convictions related to controlled substances.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
