Environmental Services Operations Manager

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Operations Manager to join our team at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, CA. As a key member of our Environmental Services/Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores, providing a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and working closely with the Infectious Control department.
Key Responsibilities- Drive client and patient satisfaction scores through effective leadership and management of the Environmental Services/Housekeeping team.
- Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by ensuring that all areas of the hospital are maintained to the highest standards.
- Work closely with the Infectious Control department to ensure that all infection control protocols are followed and that the hospital remains a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Effectively manage the Unit Operating System to ensure that all tasks and responsibilities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support a diverse and inclusive workforce by promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity within the Environmental Services/Housekeeping team.
- 3-5 years of experience in Environmental Services/Housekeeping or a related field.
- Proven track record of driving client and patient satisfaction scores.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of hospital staff.
- Ability to analyze data and present findings to senior management.
- Experience with vendor and contract management, as well as union and contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures, with the ability to implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with computers and other technology.
