Patriot Environmental Services is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our field crews, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Site Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure worksite by following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Team Supervision: Supervise work crews completing operational duties at spills, projects, and other job sites, working closely with senior management to ensure successful project execution.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare all timesheets, work summaries, and manifests as required, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Waste Management: Prepare waste for shipment and delivery, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
- Resource Management: Manage time, materials, personnel, and equipment on worksite, procuring rental equipment as needed to ensure efficient project execution.
- Equipment and Material Management: Ensure the proper use of equipment and materials, maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
- Customer and Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with customers and regulatory agencies, providing timely and accurate information as required.
- Emergency Response: Respond to various types of emergency response incidents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as required, when on uncontrolled standby.
- Resource Coordination: Coordinate and prioritize area resources to maximize efficiency, ensuring successful project execution.
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
- Driving Record: Driving record that meets company standards and current DMV printout required.
- Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- CDL License: CDL license preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a related industry.
- HAZWOPER Certification: 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required (training available).
- Pre-Employment Requirements: All applicants must pass the following pre-employment requirements: physical, including drug and alcohol screening, and background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Customer Service and Communication: Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Team Leadership: Ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Urgency and Adaptability: Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations on hazardous materials.
- Flexibility: Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.
- Physical Activity: Push and pull on a frequent daily basis, twist and turn on a frequent daily basis, lift items overhead on a frequent daily basis, stand 6-8 hours per day, crouch and stoop for prolonged periods, typing and data entry on a frequent daily basis, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a frequent daily basis.
