Overview:

Stellar Consulting Solutions, LLC is in search of a proficient and seasoned Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Consultant to enhance our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in manufacturing processes, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS). The BSA Consultant will be pivotal in the discovery, requirements gathering, and analytical phases of our projects, collaborating closely with business leaders to pinpoint improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Process Improvement, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within a manufacturing context; senior-level experience is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, engineering principles, quality assurance protocols, and EHS standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process analysis, enhancement, and optimization.
  • Skilled in data analysis, with the capability to interpret and present data effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems, manufacturing software, and other pertinent business applications.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is advantageous.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Core Responsibilities:

Discovery and Requirements Gathering: Lead the discovery phase to comprehend business needs, objectives, and challenges across Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Operations, and EHS departments.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to collect detailed requirements, document business processes, and translate them into functional specifications.

Process Analysis: Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and potential enhancements.

Solution Development: Formulate and propose solutions to optimize manufacturing operations, improve quality assurance, and ensure adherence to EHS standards.

Project Communication: Facilitate ongoing communication between business partners and development teams to maintain alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Plans and Use Cases: Create comprehensive quality plans and use cases to guide project development and ensure that solutions align with business requirements.

User Acceptance Testing Coordination: Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including planning, execution, and obtaining stakeholder sign-off.

Deployment Communication: Manage communications related to the rollout of new systems and enhancements, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared for changes.

Documentation: Produce detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and user guides.

Collaboration: Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure the successful implementation of system enhancements and new applications.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of implemented solutions.

Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis and generate reports to support decision-making processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Industry Best Practices: Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in manufacturing operations, engineering, quality assurance, and EHS.

Project Participation: Engage in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
