Position Overview:

This position is focused on delivering services for Inmate Tracking System (ITS) and Inmate Records Information System (IRIS) Projects.

  • Analyze and comprehend the scope and business requirements of the ITS initiative.
  • Ensure the completion of interface development for the ITS initiative.
  • Implement multifactor authentication, active directory integration, and single sign-on for the ITS initiative.
  • Assist with tasks assigned during the operational readiness review of the ITS initiative.
  • Facilitate user training for the ITS initiative.
  • Complete scheduled tasks for the IRIS initiative.
  • Validate technical specifications for the IRIS initiative.
  • Prepare business analysis documentation for the IRIS initiative interfaces.
  • Conduct testing for Spartan devices related to the ITS initiative.
  • Support interface testing for the ITS initiative.
  • Provide operational assistance for both ITS and IRIS initiatives.
  • Deliver knowledge transfer to County resources as required.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • At least two years of experience as a senior business systems analyst.
  • Experience in the Public, Safety, and Justice sectors.
  • Strong capabilities in business analysis and project management.
  • Experience in data analysis and migration.
  • Proficiency in MSSQL, Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI.
  • Understanding of system integration, technical security, and operating systems.
  • Ability to mentor junior business analysts and foster strong relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A four-year degree in Information Technology or seven years of relevant professional experience.
  • Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP, CBDA, CPRE, BPA, AAC.
