Position Overview:
The Senior Business Systems Administrator will be pivotal in managing, maintaining, and enhancing our internal business systems. This role involves collaboration with external consultants to ensure optimal functionality of our systems, integrations, and databases, thereby maximizing organizational value. The individual will work closely with our marketing team on web design and user experience, as well as with the sales department to create KPI reports and streamline operations within our CRM and ERP systems. Additionally, this role will lead project management for new system implementations, upgrades, and feature enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and optimizing internal business systems and ensuring database integrity, including:
- NetSuite
- HubSpot
- WooCommerce/WordPress
- Avalara
- Managing system integrations
- Configuring ERP/CRM systems to enhance productivity and value creation, such as developing dashboards and reports, and providing training to employees on system usage.
- Leading project management efforts for new system implementations and process design.
- Identifying and resolving issues in collaboration with consultants and development teams to implement timely solutions.
- Collaborating with operations, sales, and marketing to identify and implement improvements to both internal and external systems.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A comprehensive understanding of the interconnections between various systems and how changes in one may affect others.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead and coordinate teams of external consultants to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
The candidate should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in administering ERP/CRM systems, software development, and project management.
- Experience with systems such as NetSuite, HubSpot, WooCommerce, WordPress, Celigo, or Microsoft Teams is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation package includes:
- Salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience.
- 401k plan with profit sharing.
- Two weeks of paid vacation, increasing to three weeks after five years and four weeks after ten years.
- Paid holidays.
- Comprehensive health insurance fully covered by the company.
