Position Overview

As a Senior SAP Functional Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the configuration, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of PowerPlan to deliver effective system solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Support and Advisory:

  • Establish standard procedures within PowerPlan and facilitate adaptation within Finance and Tax sectors.
  • Examine comprehensive business processes across all PowerPlan modules.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the current and future operational landscape of the organization; proactively identify and fulfill business requirements through an integrated approach that leverages both existing and new PowerPlan functionalities.
  • Identify, recommend, and advocate for IT solutions to intricate cross-departmental business challenges utilizing ERP capabilities; negotiate requirements and deliverables among various business and IT stakeholders.
  • Assess existing customizations within the system to assist business and IT partners in understanding the risks and costs associated with customization versus utilizing standard functionalities, promoting the use of standard functionalities to reduce future implementation expenses and total cost of ownership (TCO).

Functional Analysis:

  • Enhance and streamline the PowerPlan system.
  • Align business requirements with SAP S4 system capabilities and configure accordingly.
  • Review design and technical specification documents to ensure they align with business solutions.
  • Conduct PowerPlan configuration and perform quality assurance and testing activities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on SAP.
  • Extensive experience with the PowerPlan Adapter for SAP.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CR, PM, Asset/ARO, and Depr modules and their data flow.
  • Experience overseeing the complete lifecycle of SAP EAM projects, from inception and estimation to completion and month-end close, including integration with PowerTax and PowerPlan.
