In this position, you will play a significant role in supporting the Subsidy Division.

Annual Salary Range: $18.00

Key Responsibilities

To excel in this role, you should possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a supportive approach when working with families.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications and data entry, with a typing speed of 35 words per minute and a maximum error rate of 5%.
  • Experience with MS Word and Excel is preferred.
  • Flexibility and sound judgment, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to engage with diverse political and socioeconomic groups.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and familiarity with general office procedures.
  • Capacity to foster cooperative and diplomatic relationships with colleagues and the public.
  • Commitment to maintaining workflow and high customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment.

Primary Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing customer service and support to parents, providers, and other stakeholders, including:
    • Operating the main telephone switchboard and ACD software, answering calls professionally, and directing them appropriately (30%).
    • Welcoming Agency visitors and verifying family enrollment through the NOHO system (30%).
    • Organizing and sorting incoming mail and documents, accurately entering data into the CSC Database log (20%).
    • Communicating clearly and attentively with all CCRC customers, ensuring sensitivity to the environment (10%).
    • Providing requested forms and general clerical support (5%).
    • Explaining agency programs, policies, and procedures to parents and providers (5%).

Additional Responsibilities

These tasks are less than 5% of your daily workflow:

  • Participating in departmental and agency meetings as assigned.
  • Assisting other departments in locating documents or information.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned that support the essential functions of the role.

Qualifications

Education:

High School diploma or GED is required.

Experience:

Relevant experience in customer service or related fields is preferred.
