Position Overview: The Logistics Warehouse Specialist role is crucial for the efficient handling and oversight of inventory across various operational areas, including the dock, sales floor, product repair, and customer delivery. This position is responsible for the accurate assessment and dispatch of goods while managing the flow of inventory effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process order requests, organize merchandise, and prepare items for prompt dispatch.
- Assess incoming products and allocate them to appropriate zones for further handling.
- Facilitate the movement of goods between the dock, stockroom, sales area, and customer collection points.
- Conduct audits to ensure the accuracy of the Hold for Merchandise (HFM) staging area.
- Oversee the assembly of merchandise as required.
- Assemble and disassemble display fixtures for seasonal adjustments or layout changes.
- Manage receipts and ensure that inventory levels are monitored and recorded accurately.
- Generate necessary documentation for all shipments and customer deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service during all interactions, ensuring timely and friendly assistance.
- Report any unsafe or unethical conditions to management promptly.
- Foster a collaborative environment with the sales team to ensure efficient merchandise movement and presentation standards.
- Safeguard company assets by adhering to policies regarding customer pickup procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving area.
- Assist customers by delivering items to their vehicles and helping with loading and securing merchandise.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move a minimum of fifty pounds to ensure effective inventory flow.
