Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Skillfully prepare and cook ingredients and dishes.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain consistency and excellence in all culinary creations.
  • Sanitation: Keep a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hygiene protocols.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and communicate efficiently.
  • Recipe Compliance: Accurately follow recipes and plating guidelines.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels and reduce food waste.
  • Flexibility: Address special requests and resolve challenges during service.
  • Safety Standards: Adhere to food safety and equipment safety regulations.
  • Professional Conduct: Uphold high standards of professionalism in representing the restaurant.

Qualifications

  • Positive demeanor and strong communication abilities.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years in a similar culinary role.
  • Spanish comprehension or fluency is preferred.
  • Experience in Peruvian cuisine is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Whole Fish Butchery.
  • Experience with charcoal and wood-fired cooking methods.
