Job Title: Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager to join our team at The Little Grand. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, developing menus, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Development: Create and refine menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and highlight our commitment to local sourcing.
  • Ingredient Sourcing: Build and maintain relationships with local farmers and suppliers to ensure the freshest and highest-quality ingredients.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, food preparation, cooking, plating, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and inspire our kitchen staff, fostering a culture of growth, camaraderie, and excellence.
  • Quality Control: Ensure every dish meets high standards of presentation, flavor, and consistency.
  • Facility and Equipment Management: Ensure that kitchen facilities are impeccably clean and all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
  • Cost Management: Monitor food costs, inventory, and waste to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years in a full-service restaurant
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for local, seasonal ingredients
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Deep knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong communication skills
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $75,000
