Your Contribution

As a Technical Program Strategist at Lam, you will not merely manage projects; you will be the catalyst for innovations that support key strategic initiatives. You will guide cross-functional teams through successful project execution, merging your technical acumen with strategic foresight to introduce new or enhanced products. Your role is crucial, overseeing technical projects from inception to completion by leveraging your expertise in planning, directing, and monitoring timelines and budgets.

Your Responsibilities
  • Oversee the enhancement or development of technical product offerings, processes, or programs, crafting project plans, aligning teams, managing risks, and steering projects through to release.
  • Assume ownership and accountability for the success of projects and cross-functional teams to ensure program timelines, performance metrics, and delivery align with business needs on schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend process and system requirements, delivering enhancements in response to an evolving technological landscape.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives, from conception to impactful outcomes.
  • Conduct data collection and statistical analysis, and communicate findings to inform program timelines and deliverables.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to foster process improvements and inspire alignment.
  • Implement change management for programs that are sustainable and ensure long-term success.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years' experience; or a PhD with 3+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in continuous improvement or technical program management.
  • Proven experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating leadership and influence skills to achieve results.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to engage audiences at all levels within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Semiconductor fabrication, Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related sectors is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Program Management methodologies and experience in Product Development & Release (PDR) processes.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodology or certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent.
  • Experience in Change Management methodologies is a plus.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely. 'On-site Flex' involves working 3+ days per week on-site, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' allows for 1-2 days per week on-site, with the remainder of the time working remotely.

Compensation

Salary Range for this position: Min $83,500 - Max $184,000.

The above salary range is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors including location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company-mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
