Position Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Financial Strategist to enhance our financial operations. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Finance and will be instrumental in shaping the financial direction of Twelve. The individual will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and delivering comprehensive financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making. This role will work in close collaboration with various departments to ensure alignment with the organization's financial objectives and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting initiatives.
  • Generate timely and precise monthly financial reports and performance analyses against historical, budgeted, and projected results, contextualized with business drivers.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to assess financial performance and influence financial decision-making.
  • Work closely with the plant operations and project controls teams to establish cost accounting processes in compliance with GAAP and provide in-depth operational margin analysis.
  • Identify significant financial risks and opportunities, offering actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain financial systems, processes, and tools to facilitate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, including model creation and analysis.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, investment banking, or a related field.
  • Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles and procedures, gained through close collaboration with an Accounting team or involvement in a monthly financial statement closing process.
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling capabilities, with a desire to understand the underlying factors driving financial performance and business processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and quick to adapt to other financial software and tools.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team; a proactive self-starter with effective time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to influence strategic decisions through financial analysis.

Compensation Range: $108,000 - $135,000
