About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Manager to oversee the financial reporting obligations of our accounting division. This position will report directly to the VP of Corporate Finance.

This role requires onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the international accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly and annual close processes with well-defined roles, procedures, documentation, and controls.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements, including variance analysis of P&L and balance sheets.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance accounting practices and business processes, focusing on the design and implementation of scalable finance and reporting systems.
  • Prepare financial statements for audits, including consolidations across multiple entities.
  • Provide guidance on accounting matters, including functional currency, entity setup, intercompany transactions, foreign exchange issues, and compliance with new accounting standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls and documentation.
  • Oversee local statutory audits and compliance requirements, supporting the team in quarterly and annual financial audits.
  • Participate in the record-to-report process, preparing and presenting financial statements for subsidiary entities and consolidated financial reports.
  • Conduct research and draft technical accounting memos for complex transactions.
  • Ensure the integrity of key processes by understanding systems, transaction flows, and internal controls.
  • Act as a change agent to implement new insights and process improvements in a dynamic environment.
  • Develop team members by managing performance, setting objectives, providing training, and fostering strong employee relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and advanced proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a commitment to achieving results.
  • Expertise in employee relationship management and performance evaluation techniques.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other financial systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, FloQast, Workiva, or Carta is preferred.
  • Prior auditing experience is a plus.
  • Experience with financial consolidations, particularly with international entities and foreign exchange considerations, is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ownership with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, HR, payroll, and finance.
