The Energy Field Sales Representative will be responsible for generating business by working an assigned territory, visiting residential houses to sell electricity, and providing potential customers with pricing and effectively closing the sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate business by working an assigned territory and visiting residential houses to sell electricity.
- Use a consultative selling approach to educate and increase customers' awareness of their energy choice and the competitive advantage of choosing AEP Energy Partners.
- Provide potential customers with pricing and effectively close the sale.
- Assure quality and accurate representation of products and maintain a professional image on behalf of the Company.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Reliable form of personal transportation to use during work hours.
- Auto insurance coverage that satisfies the minimum requirement for the state of Ohio.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One of the following work experiences: three months of phone or face-to-face customer service experience, three months of leadership experience in a club or organization, or prior military experience.
