Job Summary:

Community Hospital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Registration Representative to join our team. As a Patient Registration Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring that patient information is accurately and efficiently processed, and that all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registration and Scheduling: Register patients for appointments and services, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and documented.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility, and obtain necessary authorizations and pre-certifications.
  • Payment Processing: Collect and process patient payments, including co-pays, deductibles, and copayments.
  • Chart Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, including demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
