Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently manages incoming and outgoing communications with professionalism.

Conducts interviews with patients or their representatives to gather and accurately document essential information such as name, address, age, emergency contacts, attending physician, and responsible parties for billing.

Coordinates appointment scheduling and ensures all relevant details are recorded in patient files.

Verifies insurance coverage and payment eligibility using the computer system and online resources to guarantee the accuracy of collected data.

Processes, records, and monitors all payments on accounts, collecting initial payments based on co-pay or deductible amounts in accordance with insurance eligibility data.

Performs administrative tasks for the clinic as directed by the Practice Administrator.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Required:

A minimum of one (1) year in customer service; experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. The compensation for this position is competitive and based on education and experience.
