This organization represents a coalition of over 140 natural gas and electric utilities, alongside energy efficiency entities, striving to enhance the adoption of energy-saving products, services, and methodologies. They are in search of a seasoned Senior Program Manager to oversee the operations of one or more initiatives aimed at transforming markets for energy-efficient solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensuring comprehensive design, planning, resource allocation, and execution of designated market transformation initiatives.
  • Overseeing daily program functions, including stakeholder engagement, internal and external reporting, and managing contractor and program budgets.
  • Establishing and nurturing essential market relationships.
  • Delivering targeted business outcomes.
  • Influencing and navigating complex challenges within program teams.
  • Developing and ensuring the timely execution of program plans aligned with milestones.
  • Identifying, escalating, and resolving issues arising from development efforts.
  • Balancing the needs of a diverse array of stakeholders and industry partners, including utilities, manufacturers, and supply chain associates, to achieve multi-year program objectives and market advancements.
  • Maintaining a performance scorecard for each program, ensuring that market progress metrics and goals are established, monitored, and reported.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in managing complex programs within cross-functional team settings.
  • BA/BS Degree in engineering, economics, or business; an MBA or related qualification is advantageous.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training will also be considered.
  • Experience in managing programs that encompass multiple projects.
  • Experience with integrated building energy systems or related projects is required, such as commercial HVAC, motor-driven systems, fans, and drives.
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands from various internal and external clients.
  • Experience in managing contracts and contractors to meet project objectives.
  • Experience in overseeing remote project teams.

SCHEDULE:

Hybrid work schedule with a flexible environment, including 9/80 schedule options. All employees must be available from 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday (unless Friday is scheduled off).

COMPENSATION:

Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 exempt.
