POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Email Marketing Strategist at SOREL plays a crucial role within the SOREL Global Brand Marketing and North America Ecommerce teams. This individual is tasked with spearheading a comprehensive email marketing strategy aimed at enhancing customer loyalty, boosting retention rates, achieving sales growth targets, and maximizing consumer lifetime value.
This role is pivotal in driving the growth and profitability of the brand through the strategic formulation of email communications, which encompass marketing, triggered, and operational email initiatives. The Specialist will refine and elevate our current email marketing strategies, focusing on improved segmentation, relevance, and the acquisition of a qualified email database to meet brand and commerce performance objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, oversee, and implement an email marketing calendar that includes timing, frequency, promotional activities, and segmentation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams in Creative, E-commerce, Marketing, and Merchandising to develop messaging strategies and content that align with seasonal initiatives and business objectives.
- Analyze and interpret the performance of email campaigns, utilizing insights to provide proactive recommendations for email strategies and programs.
- Generate regular performance reports for weekly and monthly email campaigns across the entire email program.
- Lead the development of audience segmentation and messaging strategies to enhance personalization and drive incremental sales revenue through email channels.
- Manage and implement email optimization and testing plans to improve engagement metrics and sales objectives within the email channel.
- Work in conjunction with data analysts to monitor and enhance testing agendas for continuous improvement of the email program.
- Stay updated on marketing trends related to email to introduce innovative strategies and tactics to SOREL.
- Formulate email sales and acquisition strategies while tracking performance goals, including weekly, monthly, and yearly forecasts.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in fields such as advertising, marketing, business administration, Ecommerce, or communications.
- Over 5 years of experience in leading email strategy and conversion optimization initiatives within B2C/DTC retail or innovative consumer brands.
- Proficient in leveraging data and insights to inform strategies, with hands-on experience using web tools including CMS, A/B testing tools, site analytics, and business intelligence tools. Familiarity with Emarsys or Bluecore ESPs is advantageous.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, capable of managing multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency. Experience in influencing senior leadership and presenting quantifiable results to various business levels.
