Role Summary

This position will serve as a management resource for both new and established accounts within educational environments, requiring travel that may include overnight stays. Candidates should be flexible regarding relocation opportunities.

In the role of Facilities Cleaning Manager, you will oversee the cleanliness, sanitation, and security of designated facilities. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the activities of cleaning staff, supervising and developing team members according to company standards, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through meticulous quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate communication across shifts to guarantee task completion.
  • Train staff in cleaning protocols and equipment usage.
  • Distribute supplies and equipment to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Conduct daily inspections and follow up on assignments to confirm completion.
  • Cross-train personnel for versatility in multiple roles.
  • Hold weekly meetings to review performance and upcoming projects.
  • Secure facilities after work completion.
  • Guide project execution to ensure timely and budget-compliant outcomes.
  • Report any budgetary concerns.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred college degree.
  • One to two years of supervisory experience in a cleaning or service-oriented field with significant customer interaction.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality and customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities in both individual and group settings.
  • Capability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Understanding of budgeting and profit/loss concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Experience with heavy cleaning equipment.
