Position Overview

This role is eligible for remote work with occasional in-office requirements.

The Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in delivering financial support to the Apollo Sales Region.

In this capacity, you will engage in comprehensive financial management activities, including strategic planning, performance reporting, forecasting, and detailed analysis. You will primarily assist the Manager of Sales Finance (MSF) for the Apollo region.


Your contributions will be vital in generating insights and leveraging analytics to guide business decisions within the sales territory.

This position is essential for fostering trust among distributors, wholesalers, and Sales teams, thereby promoting growth, profitability, and brand appeal for Constellation Brands.

Key Responsibilities


Facilitate the monthly forecasting process, which includes volume trend assessments, brand expense evaluations, and variance analysis across various financial metrics.

Ensure accuracy in rates and capture the financial implications of identified risks and opportunities highlighted by the sales teams.


Provide regional support during the annual planning cycle, particularly concerning key tasks related to rate updates, reporting, and collaborative business planning sessions.

Participate in the monthly closing process.

Assist with accruals and reclassification entries as necessary.

Examine state-level profit and loss statements and help identify discrepancies that may require further investigation.

Prepare financial reporting packages and support monthly performance reviews.

Oversee distributor bank reconciliations, non-price tracking/analysis, and other trade expenditure-related activities.

Serve as a resource for internal teams regarding financial performance (e.g., NSV, SGP). This will involve preparing ad-hoc analyses related to the region's financial performance, utilizing relevant systems, and communicating findings. Assist with invoice processing as required.

Support the MSF in managing distributor relationships, which includes collecting, reviewing, and analyzing distributor financial statements (accounts receivable, bank statements, and other contractual documents).


As a collaborative partner, you will frequently interact with the Commercial Finance team, various levels of the Apollo Region sales team, and distributor personnel.

The ability to work cross-functionally is crucial and integral to this role.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting.

3-5 years of combined experience in financial analysis and accounting, with a preference for experience in a sales environment.

Technical Skills:
Demonstrated analytical capabilities.

Strong understanding of key finance and accounting principles.

Proficient in PC applications, particularly Excel. Familiarity with planning and financial reporting systems (Anaplan, SAP, MicroStrategy, Circana (IRI)).

Professional Skills:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

Solid financial insight and analytical/problem-solving abilities.

A strong customer service orientation is essential, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.


Requires a team-oriented individual with a positive attitude, high motivation, and a willingness to work with diverse individuals at all levels.

Ability to be a self-starter, capable of working independently or collaboratively.

Salary Range

$64,000 - $95,200.00


This range reflects the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.

Ultimately, compensation may vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to, location, education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, and business needs.
