Tropicana Brands Group is in search of a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to assist the Finance Manager in Traditional Sales, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and initiatives.
The Senior Finance Analyst plays a pivotal role within the Tropicana Finance team, supporting the sales division. This position involves providing analytical and business support, actively monitoring customer trends, and identifying risks and opportunities to optimize business performance. Success in this role demands a results-oriented mindset, strong organizational capabilities, intellectual curiosity, robust financial analytical skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team or independently. Tropicana seeks a critical thinker with outstanding communication, influence, and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver customer insights and analysis regarding key metrics such as volume, pricing, margins, and product profitability.
- Identify discrepancies between planned forecasts and actual sales trends, communicate findings with the sales team, and devise solutions to enhance sales.
- Provide analytical insights that empower sales teams to create effective customer programs that meet annual operating plan metrics and accurate business forecasts.
- Manage trade execution and support pricing event and promotion analysis.
- Streamline processes by evaluating current tools and systems, designing, and implementing new procedures for improved reporting efficiency.
- Assist with ad-hoc and cross-functional projects as necessary.
- Address ambiguous challenges to establish and prioritize business strategies.
- Demonstrate the ability to structure and prioritize tasks while focusing efforts in an uncertain work environment.
- Exhibit a proven ability to implement both short-term and long-term strategies that support organizational operations and transformation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience, preferably in Sales Finance, Trade Management, or Financial Planning & Analysis within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company.
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the capability to translate findings into actionable solutions and processes.
- Results-driven approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with all management levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a quick learning ability for various in-house software applications.
- Legally authorized to work in the country of application without requiring sponsorship or additional work permits.
