Key Responsibilities:
  • Take the lead in new designs and sustaining initiatives to enhance the performance and reliability of our wearable consumer electronics. Assess alternatives for outdated and 'end of life' components.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to conduct failure analysis and investigations to determine the root causes of production and field failures.
  • Work with teams across hardware, software, and manufacturing to resolve product issues, implement design modifications, and tackle technical challenges.
  • Design and execute electrical verification test plans to confirm product designs, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Analyze testing outcomes, troubleshoot electrical problems, and suggest design enhancements and optimizations.
  • Generate documentation, including test procedures, reports, and specifications, to support product development and manufacturing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience with Altium Enterprise for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Proficient in electrical design tools such as CAD software (e.g., Altium Enterprise) and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE).
  • Familiarity with embedded microcontrollers, particularly MSP430, ARM7, and STM32, along with experience in IAR and KEIL development environments.
  • Strong grasp of electrical engineering principles, circuit design, and PCB layout.
  • Experience in programming with C and assembly languages.
  • Proficient in using various development tools and instruments, including oscilloscopes, meters, SPI bus analyzers, and logic analyzers.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations pertaining to wearable consumer electronics.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting technical information clearly.
  • Experience with Arena PLM, Salesforce, or JD Edwards is advantageous.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Over 10 years of relevant progressive experience.

  • Fine Motor Movements: 41-70%
