Amentum is seeking a motivated **Electrical Engineer** to join our team, focusing on a diverse range of engineering responsibilities from the early planning stages to the final design of complex projects. This role operates under the guidance of a Supervising Electrical Engineer and involves collaboration with various disciplines, project support teams, vendors, and client representatives as necessary.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Develop and execute engineering calculations, studies, and drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and established design criteria.

+ Engage in power system analysis and utilize relevant tools effectively.

+ Create and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, load lists, schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit/conduit schedules.

+ Specify and size electrical equipment with a high level of expertise.

+ Demonstrate advanced knowledge in power systems, lighting, power & control, grounding, and lightning protection system design.

+ Assess electrical classification for hazardous areas.

+ Utilize software tools such as 2D AutoCAD, Microstation, and Visual proficiently.

+ Exhibit strong oral communication and technical writing skills.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.

+ At least 10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering post-graduation.

+ Proven experience in power system analysis and design.

+ **Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and cannot hold dual citizenship.**

+ The position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

+ Travel may be necessary for this role.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience in engineering and design for industrial process facilities.

+ Familiarity with DOE/DOD/Army Corps of Engineers projects.

+ Proficiency in using SKM, ETAP, and/or Easypower.

+ Experience with BIM, Revit, and/or AutoCAD MEP.

+ Advanced knowledge in communications and security systems.

**Compensation & Benefits:**

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $110K - $150K (Annually) based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, along with internal equity and market alignment.
