Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engineering calculations, studies, and develop drawings in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.
  • Perform power system analysis, including load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, harmonic, arc flash, and relay coordination studies.
  • Utilize software tools such as EASYPOWER, SKM, or ETAP for power system analysis.
  • Create and refine electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Size and specify electrical equipment as needed.
  • Demonstrate an advanced understanding of power system analysis, lighting, power & control, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
  • Proficiently use 2D AutoCAD for design tasks.
  • Communicate effectively and produce high-quality technical documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional electrical engineering experience post-graduation.
  • Must be a US Citizen without Dual Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer License in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with DOE/DOD/Army Corps of Engineers projects.
  • Advanced knowledge in communications and security systems.
  • Experience in 3D design using AutoCAD MEP.

Compensation & Benefits:

The hiring salary range for this position is $92K - $144K annually, determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment. A competitive benefits package is included.
