Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new design initiatives and sustain existing products to enhance performance and reliability. Identify alternatives for outdated components.
  • Lead cross-functional investigations to determine the root causes of production and field failures.
  • Work closely with teams across hardware, software, and manufacturing to resolve product issues and implement design modifications.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive electrical verification test plans to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze test outcomes, troubleshoot electrical problems, and suggest design enhancements.
  • Prepare detailed documentation, including test procedures and reports, to support product development and manufacturing.

Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Altium Enterprise for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Proficient in electrical design tools and simulation software.
  • Experience with embedded microcontrollers, particularly MSP430, ARM7, and STM32.
  • Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and circuit design.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C and assembly.
  • Skilled in using development tools and instruments like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  • Familiarity with industry standards related to wearable electronics.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Experience with PLM and ERP systems is a plus.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in the field.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Minimal standing required.
  • Fine motor skills necessary for detailed work.
