Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy, and enhance innovative products and services.
- Engage in a diverse range of projects, from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems to integrated aircraft and space exploration systems.
- Conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle, including analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs.
- Capable of repetitive hand, arm, and finger motions, demonstrating dexterity.
- Occasional lifting or carrying of items up to 20 lbs.
- Minimal exposure to outdoor elements and hazardous materials.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
- Experience in electrical design and schematics.
- Background in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues with instrumentation systems during flight tests.
- Experience in maintaining documentation for instrumentation systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
- Experience in composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Familiarity with design requirements related to High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL).
- Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, including model-based definition and electrical component selection.
- Understanding of Electro Magnetic Effects (EME), including Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI).
- Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture.
- Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools.
