Health Care Coordinator

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Health Care Coordinator to join our team at Lulac Head Start Inc.
The ideal candidate will support the Health Manager in ensuring quality assurance and compliance in the Health department across the agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Health department, Social Service team to support enrollment of children into the program and provide health services while enrolled.
- Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with health and nutritional needs.
- Review and update children's files, including data entry, filing, and physical dental notices to parents.
- Conduct health screenings, including vision, hearing, height, and weight, and assist with dental screening under supervision.
- Support families with referral processes and follow-up for medical and dental care.
- Assist families in obtaining complete medical, dental, and developmental history for each child.
- Monitor First Aid kits and follow up as needed.
- Under supervision, monitor children's medications and medication administration documents and care plans.
- Conduct monthly safety drills, report on them, and provide follow-up as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with an Associate's Degree in Health and Nutrition or certification in a related field.
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred.
Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
