About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Patient Account Collections Specialist to join our team at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving patient receivables while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to patients and guarantors to secure payment on outstanding account balances.
  • Identify problem accounts and escalate as necessary.
  • Update patient account records to reflect actions taken.
  • Maintain minimum production standards and achieve passing quality review scores.
  • Work with other team members and management in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED preferred.
  • Previous call center experience preferred.
  • Minimum one-year related experience preferred, preferably in healthcare.
  • Experience with collections in healthcare revenue space is preferred.
