Role Responsibilities:
As an Environmental Compliance Analyst II, you will play a vital role in monitoring and supporting Community Action Partnerships (CAP) and non-profit organizations that work with the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) under the federal Weatherization Assistance Program. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting thorough inspections and evaluations of completed projects to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Reviewing project documentation and verifying accuracy of energy audits performed by sub-grantees.
  • Ensuring adherence to Standard Work Specifications as outlined in the Nebraska Field Guide.
  • Utilizing diagnostic tools to assess energy efficiency and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Preparing detailed reports based on field inspections, providing actionable recommendations for energy efficiency enhancements.
  • Engaging with community stakeholders to promote participation in energy conservation initiatives.
