Job Overview

The main duty of the Geospatial Analyst is to assess and delineate land and legal parcels for boundary and topographic surveys, in addition to facilitating the layout of construction and engineering initiatives. This role necessitates a blend of fieldwork and computer-aided drafting expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct boundary and topographic surveys using advanced GPS technology.
  • Execute construction layout for sitework and utilities with GPS and robotic total stations.
  • Perform as-built data collection.
  • Engage in minor to moderate survey calculations.
  • Maintain meticulous notes and logs throughout the surveying process.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of surveying experience.
  • Strong attention to detail in processes.
  • Ability to work independently and reliably.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with mapping, basic surveying, and subdivision principles.

Work Environment:

This position involves outdoor work in diverse environmental conditions. The role requires extended periods of physical activity, including lifting, carrying, standing, and walking on uneven surfaces, as well as manual manipulation, grasping, reaching, climbing, kneeling, bending, twisting, and pushing/pulling.
