As a Logistics Customer Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that client shipments are executed punctually and that empty containers are returned efficiently. Your responsibilities will include accurate and timely data entry for all relevant information.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Proactively verify the accuracy of customer onboarding details.
  2. Understand and adhere to customer contract stipulations.
  3. Continuously strive to minimize additional charges to enhance the customer experience.
  4. Facilitate effective communication with dray carriers to ensure timely deliveries and equipment returns.
  5. Schedule delivery appointments promptly.
  6. Monitor and track all shipments diligently.
  7. Comprehend and apply information related to shipments, including:
  • Customer Terms
  • REZ1 Policy
  • Celtic International requirements, policies, and procedures
  • Hazardous Materials Load Process
  • High Value Loads Process
Oversee the system to ensure all loads are updated with accurate and timely delivery information.Ensure carrier performance aligns with customer and company expectations.Manage Destination Pools effectively.Participate in weekend coverage as part of a rotation.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Intermediate proficiency in personal computer applications, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one interactions with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Deliver updates and support in a professional and friendly manner, utilizing appropriate communication channels.
  • Capable of solving practical problems and managing various concrete variables.
  • Understanding of time zones and the ability to convert standard time to military time.
  • General knowledge of the geographical locations within the continental U.S. and Canada.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to identify and address customer needs effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Recognize when to escalate issues to management.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.

EDUCATION:

A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
