A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

As a Customer Service Specialist, your day begins with a focus on providing top-notch service to every client, both human and animal. You will be the first point of contact for our services, playing a vital role in building trust with our clientele. Your responsibilities include taking reservations, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional manner, whether in person or via phone.

When checking pets in for services, you will warmly greet clients, attentively listen to their needs, and ensure all instructions are followed. You will manage client billing and daily cash reports with precision and care. As pet care is central to our operations, you will also assist with various aspects of pet care as needed. This role thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment filled with pets and people.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced setting
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Proficient in computer usage, including in-house software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to retain and accurately recall information
  • Compassionate handling of animals
  • Genuine passion for both people and pets
Previous experience in a pet resort or similar setting is advantageous but not mandatory. If you possess a positive attitude, are a team player, and demonstrate reliability and excellent communication skills, you may be the ideal candidate for this role.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST WORK SCHEDULE

Stability is crucial for our furry guests, making attendance a priority. Our front office operates from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays, with additional hours on every other Saturday and Sunday for scheduled pick-ups.
