Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Babcock Hills Veterinary Hospital. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Welcome clients and pets, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed about their pet's care.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule client appointments and follow-up exams, working closely with our veterinary team to ensure optimal scheduling.
  • Product and Service Promotion: Maintain knowledge of our hospital's services and products, promoting them to existing and prospective clients.
  • Cash Management: Handle cash transactions, including accepting payments and performing daily reconciliation of the cash drawer.
  • Problem Resolution: Respond to customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues satisfactorily.
  • Team Collaboration: Support a practice environment that promotes collaboration and teamwork, ensuring the delivery of quality care to pets.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1+ year experience in retail sales or customer service preferred, with experience in a medical facility desired.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of medical terminology, proficiency with computer programs, strong customer relations and interpersonal skills, and ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent standing and walking, with occasional bending and reaching. You will be exposed to low to moderate noise levels and may be required to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted, 50 lbs. with assistance.
