Position Summary and Requirements

Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who will provide administrative support to ensure that all patients receive outstanding care. Our team is collaborative and supportive, and we are eager to welcome someone who shares our commitment to patient-centered service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the reception area, answer incoming calls, and interact with patients and healthcare providers.

• Schedule, modify, and confirm patient appointments.

• Process patient check-ins and accurately document registration details.

• Verify insurance information and patient demographics.

• Maintain and organize medical records and files.

• Perform copying and faxing tasks as needed.

• Collect co-pays and manage payment transactions.

• Enter charges and payments into the system, ensuring accurate daily balancing.

• Adhere to the organization’s Code of Conduct and Mission Statement.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

• Understand and comply with all policies and procedures related to the role.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one year of experience is preferred.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and computers.

• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of patient and employee information.
