Position Overview:

As a Renewable Energy Procurement Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between energy consumers and renewable energy producers. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complexities of project management from initial concept through to successful execution. With the increasing demand for sustainable energy solutions, many Federal Government entities require guidance in establishing new initiatives to optimize resource management and fulfill advanced energy goals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the processes involved in renewable energy procurement.
  • Develop and implement milestone plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and refine data acquisition and reporting strategies.
  • Drive decision-making processes that align with the renewable energy aspirations of our clients.

What You Bring:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in energy program or project management.
  • Proven experience in advising senior clients and stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with electricity utility providers and the regulatory landscape affecting the utility sector across the U.S.
  • In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including power purchase agreements, renewable energy credits (RECs), and various renewable generation technologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to foster collaboration between Federal Government agencies and utility providers.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to schedules and workload demands.
  • Experience working alongside data analysts and technical experts to formulate functional and technical requirements.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience advising Federal agencies.
  • Background in collaborating with the Department of Defense.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
