Position Overview:

As a Renewable Energy Procurement Program Manager, you will navigate the intricate landscape of linking energy consumers with renewable energy producers. Your expertise will be essential in addressing the challenges of requirement gathering and overseeing projects from initial concept through to successful execution.

With the increasing demand for sustainable and resilient energy solutions, many Federal Government energy consumers require assistance in establishing new initiatives to optimize limited resources and meet advanced energy goals. We seek a proactive leader capable of ensuring project success through meticulous management and effective stakeholder communication.

In this role, you will:

  • Establish and oversee renewable energy procurement methodologies.
  • Develop comprehensive milestone plans and coordinate with senior stakeholders.
  • Define and implement data acquisition and reporting strategies to monitor progress and enhance operational processes.

Key Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in energy program or project management.
  • Proven experience advising senior clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with electricity utility providers.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting the utility sector across the U.S.
  • Knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including power purchase agreements, renewable energy credits (RECs), and various renewable generation technologies.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management and fostering collaboration between Federal Government entities and utility providers.
  • Ability to manage schedules and workloads effectively to deliver on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience collaborating with data analysts and technical experts to define functional and technical requirements.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience advising Federal agencies.
  • Background in working with the Department of Defense.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

The salary for this position is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this role is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 annually.

Work Environment:

Our people-first culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will work from a Booz Allen or client site facility as needed.
