Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the closing of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with all financial, legal, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead negotiations for financing agreements with lenders, investors, and stakeholders to secure optimal project financing.
  • Develop comprehensive financial models to facilitate tax equity and debt financing for renewable energy projects.
  • Design and implement strategies to address financing challenges in project finance transactions.
  • Prepare detailed project financing proposals, including investment memoranda, financial projections, and cash flow assessments.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses and due diligence for renewable energy initiatives, assessing feasibility, risks, and financial viability.
  • Review and negotiate terms in commercial contracts and related legal documents.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to explore and evaluate various project financing alternatives, including debt and equity structures.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and financing opportunities within the renewable energy landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project finance, renewable energy finance, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with strong financial modeling capabilities and proficiency in Excel; knowledge of VBA is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of project finance principles, including debt structuring and cash flow analysis.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, policies, and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record in managing and finalizing financial transactions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments effectively.
  • Self-driven and proactive, adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
